Our
school goal is to teach sewing skills to children 6 - 12 and teens
using kid friendly patterns and introducing them to fashion design
concepts, including pattern design, fashion illustration and
understanding current trends in clothing styles and textiles.
Program is
focused on sewing clothing that children can wear as well as creating
craft projects. Sewing their own clothing will provide an opportunity for students to
express their creativity and learn to sew fashionable well-fitting
clothing for themselves as well as meeting new friends and having fun.

Designing clothing items based on
skill level, including:
- Pajama pants/ shorts
- Night robes/ gowns
- Skirts
- Tops
- Pants/ capris,
- Sweatshirts
- Zipped hoodies
- Dresses and much
more.

Supplies:
Students are responsible for purchasing their own fabrics and trims for their projects, as well as pre-washing the fabric according to the manufacturer care instructions.
There's
a limited choice of fabrics available on hand at Kidz Kraftz! at an
additional cost of $5 to $10 per yard, depending on the fabric. | | Age: Kids 6 to 12 and Teens Class Size: Up to 4 students
Class Duration: 1 hr 30 min.
Schedule: 1 Lesson per Week
* Customized schedules are available upon request, and include such options as "Multiple Lessons per Week", "Every Other Week Lesson Options", etc. | Tuition:$30 per class
(i.e. $120 per student per month for 4 lessons)
Due at the beginning of 1st lesson of the month.
